Dieses Büchlein war wieder ein Kauf in der Bahnhofsbuchhandlung und ein Zufallsfund. Mein Auswahlkriterium war dieses Mal simpel: ein kurzes Buch für die Strecke von Bern nach Zürich.

Lesen, lachen, wohlfühlen, nachdenken, selber ausprobieren
Es wird Zeit für mich keine Max Goldt Bücher mehr zu rezensieren. Ich bin viel zu sehr ein nahezu bedingungsloser Bewunderer der Texte dieses grandioses Autors geworden, um noch objektiv sein zu können.

    Max Goldt (pseudonym of Matthias Ernst (born November 23, 1958 in Weende now Göttingen)) is a German satirical author and musician.

    Goldt's distinctive style defies definition or comparison. Some hallmarks are: a fresh ironic perspective on familiar aspects of everyday life; frequent, seemingly tangential changes of topic, triggered by unexpected (yet arguably logical) associations; creative use of language, often combined with a critique of linguistic conventions in journalese and everyday language; frequent references to pop culture; ambiguity as to whether or not the narrator is relating the first-hand experience, opinions and sentiments of the author. His more recent (post-2000) output has seen a tendency toward a slightly more conventional style as well as more direct, non-humorous criticism of language and society.
